An Individual uses Ekko directly for their own interests: following positions, finding opportunities, or recognizing problems. This experience is not restricted to a single provider's declared protocol.

## Direct use and provider alerts

Receiving alerts through a provider does not make you a direct Individual customer. If you choose direct Ekko use, that is a separate relationship. A shared wallet address does not transfer subscriptions, identity, permissions, or data from the provider experience.

You do not need to enroll in a Team to understand the Individual experience. Provider subscriber questions belong with the provider that supplies those alerts.

## Interpret information before acting

Monitoring identifies a relevant change. Intelligence investigates specific questions. An answer marked **N/A (no data found)** is missing evidence, not reassurance. A proposed action leaves the decision and transaction execution with you.

See [product concepts](https://ekko.zone/docs/concepts/) for the boundaries of monitoring and transaction control.

## Setup availability

A verified direct Individual setup-and-monitoring tutorial is not yet published in this library. Ask [support](mailto:support@ekko.zone?subject=Individual%20setup) for the supported path for your current release. Do not assume provider subscriptions will appear in a direct account.
